Dr Nicola Brock
MB, ChB, DRCOG. Qualified Sheffield 1982.
Joined the practice in September 1986. She is especially interested in day to day patient contact and has been trained as a counsellor. She is interested in psychiatry and the psychotherapeutic approach, but also in asthma.
Dr Judith Burchardt
BMBCh, MA, MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG. Qualified Oxford 1994.
Joined the practice in March 2000. She enjoys all areas of general practice. She has an interest in GP education. She works part time at the Woodley Park surgery only.
Dr Aaron Gold
MB, BS, DA. Qualified Sydney, Australia 1976.
Joined the practice in 1995. His particular interests are skin diseases and andrology. He runs our Diabetic Clinic with our Diabetic Nurse. He works full time at the Woodley Park surgery only.
Dr Medhat Mikhail
MB, BCh, MRCOG. Qualified Cairo 1979.
Joined the practice in July 1998. His special interests are in obstetrics, gynaecology, family planning and minor surgery. He works full time at the Green Road surgery only.
Dr Richard Perry
MB, BS, BSc (Hons), DCH, DRCOG, DFFP, (PhD., MRSC, CChem). Qualified London 1996.
Joined the practice in September 2000. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in the management of diabetes.
Dr Julia Thilo
MB, BS, BSc, DRCOG, MRCG, DFFP (Letter of Competence Intrauterine Techniques), Certificate in Primary Health Care Therapeutics & Primary Health Care examination in Homeopathy (PHCE, LFHom). Qualified London 1990.
Joined the practice in June 1997. Her particular interests are antenatal and postnatal care, family planning, health of teenagers and children’s health and development.

Practice Nurses And Healthcare Assistants (based at the practice)
There are three practice nurses at present, all of whom are Registered General Nurses plus two healthcare assistants.
They are available, by appointment, for health registration checks, to give injections and immunisations, take blood samples, to carry out ear syringing, hearing tests, ECGs and other procedures in connection with general health care and to offer travel advice. They are:

Health Visitors
A team of health visitors are available through the surgery. They are all qualified nurses who have taken further training to enable them to offer a specialised service promoting health and preventing ill health. Every man, woman and child registered with the practice has right of access to a named health visitor.
District Nurses
Our district nursing team is based at the surgery and is responsible for providing highly skilled nursing care, promoting health and giving support and social care advice to patients in their own homes. The team is led by two specialised practitioners who have undergone further training. Referrals are taken from GPs, hospitals, patients, carers and other agencies. The service is provided seven days a week, 9.00am to 4.30pm, and can be accessed Monday-Friday on 0118 935 2806 and via the out-of-hours service at the weekend and bank holidays.

In order to maintain a consistently high quality service to our patients, we will from time to time employ other GPs at the surgery. You may be offered an appointment with one of these doctors when your own doctor is away or fully booked.
